Olympic Visit 2011
We have passed the 500 days to go for the London Olympics. I had two reminders of that this month. I did a trip around the Olympic Park – almost exactly a year on from the previous visit. It is exciting to see order rising from the chaos of the building site.The Cycling arena is now finished. The main stadium has all its seats and grass in place. Other places it is just like a building site.

I also attended the British Olympic Association launch of its 2012 Ambassadors, which among other things, gave me a chance to catch up with Kriss Akabusi, who is one of the Ambassadors.
