"Football is not a matter of life and death, it is more important than that."

Bill Shankly, Liverpool Football manager

I, Robot

Return to the book list for titles beginning with 'i'.

Peter Crouch, London Ebury Press, 2019. ISBN9781529104615

I thought that Peter Crouch's How to be a footballer was simply the best, funniest, more readable football biography in years.

While I, Robot is good, I felt that it suffered by comparison with his previous book.

This book is arranged in thematic chapters such as fans, managers, referees, agents, shirts and formations. Good, readable but his second best book
