Football 2014
The Amis du Monde girls’ football team which we support is currently second in the league. Their most recent result was a 1-0 win over Wuiness F.C.They have also represented Togo in an international tournament. In the first round they best the Benin team, drawing 1-1 in Benin and winning the home leg 2-0.
In the second round they lost 0-1 in Burkina Faso, winning 1-0 at home taking the penalty shoot-out 5-3.
The were beaten in the next round by the Ghana team, losing 2-0 in Accra and drawing 0-0 at home.
The Togo FA representatives who invited Amis du Monde to represent them were well pleased with the performance of a young team.
