FA Kit 2019

A partnership between Verite Sport and the Football Association has resulted in quantities of the FA’s surplus kit being made available to sports relief projects around the world. Stuart has enjoyed good relations with the FA since 2002. One of the first fruits of the relationship was enabling Verite Sport to facilitate the delivery of an FA coaching course in Ukraine. In February 2019 Stuart collected 38 large boxes, containing around 2,000 garments, from Wembley. Later in the year a further 2,500 items were delivered to his home. These have been distributed to UK sports ministries and other partners within a week. All of the kit has been despatched to a number of countries including Romania, Spain, Ukraine, Kenya, The Gambia, Guinea, Kenya, Myanmar and Brazil.

Ben, who distributed the kit in Romania, told us: "It has been amazing to see them gel as a team and the kits has really helped that, they feel part of the team. This for some of them is the first time that they have felt a part of something, coming from very disorganised families and also orphanages".
