I have a confession to make! I love major football tournaments and I love Carlton’s event books. I was in Brazil for the 2014 World Cup and kept the official book of the World Cup within easy reach. In 128 pages, Keir Radnedge, gives the reader the background, the history of the tournament, various statistics and records.
The meat of the book however is more than 60 pages giving you the lowdown on each of the 24 countries including a profile of the star player and of the coach, and an evaluation of their chances and their complete record of previous finals. Like all Carlton books it is full of excellent colour photographs.
If you plan to watch the Euros on TV you need this book on the settee with you. If you are unsure about whether to watch the Euros buy the book and you will be convinced!
