"God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast and when I run, I feel his pleasure."

Teamwork

Return to the book list for titles beginning with 't'.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Venture, Ca., Regal from Gospel Lights, 2009. ISBN 978-0-8307-4630-9

The book was compiled by Chad Bonham – but this is only revealed in “Thanks” on the final page. Teamwork (along with Integrity, serving and excellence) is one of FCA’s four core values. The 160 pages start with an introduction to values followed by 12 chapters each based on an interview with an American athlete (sportsperson).

The interviews with people such as John Wooden, Cat Whitehill (Reddick), Andy Pettitte, Tony Dungy etc focus on teamwork with some application of Scripture and testimony. The praises of FCA are regularly sung.

The book did not really hold my attention
