"Football is not a matter of life and death, it is more important than that."

Bill Shankly, Liverpool Football manager

Easter 2009

From February to April 2009, Victor organized a cricket tournament. The aims of the tournament were:

1. To share the love of God with cricket players;

2. To bring unity, harmony and peace in Pakistan;

3. To direct the energies of cricket players that they become useful and responsible citizens;

4. To provide opportunity to players to polish their talents.

Verité Sport will help sponsor the tournament.

Victor wrote: "Praise God! our Easter Celebration Cricket Tournament went very well and finished on 17th April 2009. It was a great source to promote love, unity and harmony in our dear homeland - Pakistan. It was a time of fellowship among 12 cricket teams, 24 players participated from majority community. Every match started with devotional message. Our working team was like a salt and light among these great players". The Ismial Memorial Cricket club won the tournament.

Pictures below show the tournament in progress, Victor talking to the players and the prize-giving.
